About the Authors
Julie Gebauer is the global leader of the
Towers Perrin–ISR line of business and oversees Towers Perrin's
Workforce Effectiveness practice. She consults on a broad range of
business , people and performance issues, including workforce analytics, human
capital strategy, talent management and total rewards.
She is a frequent speaker on global workforce management and total rewards
and has taught executive education seminars at Harvard University and the
University of Wisconsin. She has also appeared in both print and broadcast media
as an expert commentator on trends and developments in human capital, employee
engagement, talent management and rewards. Before joining Towers Perrin in 1986,
she was with another major consulting firm.
Don Lowman is a member of the firm's executive council and board of directors,
and is managing director of strategic growth.
Don consults with some of the world's most prominent companies on executive
compensation matters, and is a frequent speaker on strategic compensation and
performance management issues. He was designated one of "The Top 25 Consultants
in the World" in 2003. Prior to joining Towers Perrin in 1982, Don held
marketing and management positions in private industry and with a major
foundation.
