RFM helps you better manage your retirement plans by providing critical, forward-looking information. It’s a meticulously executed process that helps you avoid difficulties and financial surprises by anticipating potential problems and preparing solutions. RFM recognizes that the retirement plan assets and liabilities of many companies have grown substantially, and so has the need to manage their performance.

With RFM, we have:

  • Conducted an asset/liability study for a large, global manufacturing company to develop a more efficient investment portfolio that achieved higher income with reduced risk
  • Reviewed the financial management policies of a large pharmaceutical company to produce a more consistent contribution policy, a new return-on-asset assumption that lowered annual pension expense and revised asset allocation that reduced the volatility of the plan’s funded status
  • Helped one company with a large pension surplus review its portfolio in light of downside risk in deciding on a proposal to grant retirees a cost-of-living increase.
